The Knowledge Infrastructures (KI) Special Interest Group convenes interested colleagues to collectively explore knowledge creation in schools.
We intent to find and create common ground in order to develop a vision of next-generation knowledge infrastructures to support the emergence of knowledge-creating cultures in diverse schools around the world. We work together to explore opportunities for co-designing new knowledge infrastructures that enhance student agency and sustainable change.
We actively engage with the tensions and opportunities at the human-technology intersection in the era of linked data, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, mis/disinformation, and globally networked communication. We acknowledge the importance of human, idea, and cultural diversity for understanding and solving today's problems.
